Introduced in 1976. It was usually sold as individual pieces and not in sets.
The blue stripe across the front of the cab was removed and the nose of the locomotive was just white. The number pads on the front had a "4301" in dark letters on a white background.
The cab had a red roof, while the rest of the body had the red and white stripes which went from the base all the way across the roof.
The number pads on the back were strictly white.
