Introduced in 1975 this engine was usually sold as part of a freight train set.

This locomotive had a blue stripe across the nose and around the
front cab.
The number pads on both the front and back had "4301" in dark letters on a
white background.

The cab had a red roof, while the rest of the body had the red and
white
stripes which went from the base all the way across the roof.

The most striking feature was this SEAL. This first production
version had the Presidential Seal
on the sides. This locomotive was only on the market for a very short time. The White
House sent TYCO a letter saying that they did not have permission to use this seal and to
cease using it on their locomotives. Mr. Nixon, himself, did not send this request but one
of his staff members did.
